Use as a humidifier by adding water only; Add no more than 1 to 2 drops of essential oil (not included) to water to use as a diffuser w/3 hours of spray time w/continuous or intermittent spray options. Press power button once for continuous, press a second time for intermittent, & a third time to turn off. For first use, please take out the swab rod (keep the spring) and let the swab rod soak in water about 1-2 minutes, then install to use.
